Who leads NYRR Striders walks?

NYRR assigns a trained running coach and/or fitness instructor to lead the one-hour health walk session. The coach will lead the group through a dynamic warm-up, followed by 30 minutes of active walking or a fitness activity (weather permitting), followed by stretches and strength exercises. Each session incorporates the four pillars of our program: balance, strength, flexibility, and endurance.
