How do I claim guaranteed entry into the 2019 United Airlines NYC Half if I cancelled my 2018 entry?

If you cancelled your entry to the 2018 United Airlines NYC Half by following the instructions, you were eligible for guaranteed entry to the 2019 United Airlines NYC Half on March 17, 2019, but you had to have claimed your guaranteed entry and paid your 2019 fees during the application period, October 18-November 14, 2018. Guaranteed entries not submitted during this time period were forfeited. 

Cancellation Instructions for the 2019 Race

  • Online: Go to My NYRR and log in with your email address and password. Go to the registration section on the left toolbar and click on Races to view the status of your United Airlines NYC Half registration and follow the process to cancel your entry. 
  • In person: Cancellation of entries in the 2019 race will be accepted in person at the United Airlines NYC Half Experience Presented by New Balance. 

Cancellation for Official Charity Partner Program Entrants

If you applied through an official charity or charity partner and wish to cancel, please contact your charity directly for cancellation requirements. Charity entrants may be eligible to receive guaranteed entry to the 2019 TCS New York City Marathon if they met their 2018 fundraising requirements with the charity partner.
 

Cancellation for Athletes with Disabilities

Handcyclists and other AWDs who entered the 2018 race through Achilles International and who canceled are not eligible for guaranteed entry to the 2019 race unless entered by Achilles International in that race.
