I just ran a race in my plan, and it did not go as well as I hoped. Should I still enter my result?
We love that you scheduled a race into your training plan! It offers so many benefits and excellent practice come race day. If you are not happy with your race results, you do not have to enter your time into your training program. In fact, if you enter a slow race, your pace ranges will change to slower times. We encourage you to race and enter race times that you are happy with, or feel like you have performed at a maximal effort. However, don't be discouraged! Your effort was not a waste. Each race teaches you something, so being able to reflect on how to improve for next time is better than anything we can teach you!
